Dublin

Dublin is a very safe and vibrant city, beautiful architecture, parks, sea front and social life, we have very good quality restraints, bars, theatres were near the mountains and forests, if you have friends who have lived in Dublin please ask about the city and research well, if you don’t know someone, we will be happy to provide any information.

Cost of accommodation

Cost of accommodation can be expensive, this is why we provide you with first month, if the trial works for you and were happy, we can assist you in finding suitable housing taking into account your budget.

Tax and your wages

Most people entering the state for the first time will pay emergency tax, revenue will take up to 4 weeks to provide you with tax credits, because of G.D.R.P no company in IRELAND can do this on your behalf, however we can assist you if requested and you sign a form provided by the Revenue Commissioners, once your tax is calculated, any emergency tax over paid will be refunded,

Interview

We will want to interview you online if your application is acceptable, we will request a good quality internet connection and that you have the necessary hardware to successfully communicate with one of our Garage managers. Interview will be requested, Monday morning 8am to 10 am, approximately 20 minutes, we will notify you by e mail. It is very important that you have researched Sweeney’s Garage and living in Dublin well

Had opportunity to get full service done for my VW Golf yesterday. Friendly staff and were quick to cater to my needs. Pricing was quite decent compared to other garages. Satisfied with overall service and communication. However, was bit disappointed to notice the car wasn’t washed, assumed it was covered (may be wasn't). Noticed it when I returned. Will see how my car performs now and edit the post later if required.

I wouldn’t bring my car anywhere else! If I could give Ash & his team at Sweeney’s garage a 10 star review I would. From servicing our cars to emergency appointments they have helped myself and my husband out and always in a positive and non-condescending way. They send videos and keep us abreast of everything they’re doing and always explain everything to you well and clearly regardless of how much “car knowledge” you have. I can’t thank them enough for helping me out in the past and always doing an excellent job of servicing / fixing my car.
